The Sony Bravia KDL-32L4000 is only 720p, but gets decent ratings and is around $ 600. There is also the Samsung LN32A550, which is the best LCD that size. It is 1080p and is usually around $ 900, but with post-Christmas deals should be cheaper. I, personally, would check the sales ads and go for the Samsung.
